One of Courchevel’s highest hotels, Hotel Courcheneige, underwent a huge refurbishment in time for the 2016/17 winter season. The hotel has a total of 86 rooms with four beautifully decorated suites, as well as an enormous sun terrace that overlooks the Bellecote piste and features a large traditional wooden Jacuzzi amongst the trees.
Part of the refurbishment was to introduce a pizzeria to offer fresh slices for those on the go or, whole pizzas for those who want to have a dine-in experience. Hotel Courcheneige wanted an oven to fit in with their stylish makeover, but that could also help keep up with demand at their busy site so, they opted for a Barbican 1650 which is perfect as a central show piece in the restaurant. The unique elongated entrance of the Barbican 1650 allows easy access and viewing of the large cooking floor, fitting between 12-14 pizzas at one time.
Skiers are able to spend the day exploring Les Trois Vallées, before heading back to Hotel Courcheneige for some après ski fun on the sun terrace with a delicious wood fired pizza. Their first winter season since the refurbishment was a huge success and they’re already looking forward to next year!
