The Green W7 opt for a Gozney oven for refurbished site

Tuesday 22nd August 2017

The Green W7 is the latest pub to take over this London site that dates back to at least 1860. The pub has undertaken a huge refurbishment, including an extension to the original building which is home to their new Gozney oven.

The Green W7, which is part of a larger network of pubs across West London, is the first to provide a pizza offering for their customers. When choosing the right oven, it was vital for the team to choose an oven that would be suitable for installation in the city of London as it is a smoke controlled zone. The whole Gozney Ovens range is DEFRA approved meaning that they comply with the Clean Air Act and can be installed in any of the smoke controlled zones across the UK.  After visiting Gozney HQ to see the ovens in action, the team at The Green W7 opted for a Napoli 1250 to produce their artisan pizzas.

The team put emphasis on the quality of their food, with their chefs using traditional techniques to provide a selection of 11 different pizzas, along with their hand crafted burgers, Italian inspired starters and desserts. The Green W7 also offer Sunday lunch, BBQ and buffet menus.
