Once a Library 27 years ago, Cardiff’s Old Library has been home to bars and restaurants since, but nothing like the Locke & Remedy.
Concorde BGW started the delicate process of stripping back the Grade II listed building, to restore and expose some of the hidden grand architecture and interiors. The result, is a décor inspired by Victorian apothecaries which now serves cocktails, craft beer, pizza’s and burgers.
The Revere Pub Company, behind Locke and Remedy, is a collection of independent pubs, bars and restaurants located across the UK. They pride themselves in embracing period features of their buildings and adding contemporary design features, to give a truly unique setting of comfort, to suit any dining occasion.
A premium food offering is at the heart of Locke and Remedy with wood fired pizza’s cooked on show, to entice and entertain all that dine at the restaurant.
Gozney Ovens installed a Gio model on site, the closest comparable model being the Classic 1500 Oven. This is a general all use, gas fired, stone oven which provides a consistent, easy to manage cooking environment.
