Pizza, Pots and Pints are rapidly expanding with a Gozney oven for each site

Pizza, Pots and Pints is a pub concept owned by the Charles Wells brewery which focuses on artisan pizzas, warm terracotta pots of comfort food and delicious beer from the Charles Wells brewery, as well as around the world. So far, Charles Wells have two Pizza, Pots and Pints sites open, The Salisbury Arms in Cambridge and then followed by The Old White Horse in Baldock.

The Salisbury Arms which is the flagship Pizza, Pots and Pints site, was the first to install a Gozney Professional oven in February 2015 and the team came to Gozney HQ to test the oven before deciding on the former Gio 120 model.

The next pub that the Charles Wells brewery transformed was The Old White Horse, for which they opted for a Traditional Core 1250 to keep in line with the similar aesthetics of the Gio 120. This option gave them the chance to fully customise their oven by building their own brick and blockwork stand and finishing the upper enclosure themselves.

Looking to open in August 2017, the latest Gozney oven install for Pizza, Pots and Pints was at The Queen’s Head in Peterborough. They pre-empted that this site would be much busier therefore, they went for the Traditional Core 1500 with a larger pizza capacity.

The Pizza, Pots and Pints concept has proven to be very popular and they are set to refurbish The Radcliffe Arms in Hitchin with a view to open in October 2017.
